Should I wait until verizon gets the nexus one?
I really want the nexus one and verizon says they're going to start selling them this spring. But my phone now is crappy and I really need a new one. Should I just buy the unlocked version or wait? Is there a difference? Will I be able to do more things with my phone if I wait until verizon has it?
The Nexus one you can get right now is almost certainly a GSM-only phone, which means it won't work on Verizon's CDMA (not GSM) network.
So if you will want to use your Nexus one on Verizon, you need to wait for the Verizon-specific version.
Other than the type of network supported (GSM vs. CDMA) there shouldn't be any other difference between the phones.
